The new feature allows fleet teams to send direct messages to individual drivers through the Spotter Driver App Bot in Slack, giving dispatchers, recruiters, operations teams and fleet managers a faster and more focused way to reach drivers when timing, clarity or privacy matter.

With Driver Direct Messages, drivers can now switch between direct messages and the main driver chat channel inside the Spotter Driver App. The direct message experience works similarly to the main chat, but gives teams a more private communication option for driver-specific questions, sensitive details, urgent updates or information that may not need to be shared in a broader group conversation.
